Periodic table (Nursing field/Chemistry class)
Periodic table (as it pertains to chemistry and use in nursing field):
The periodic table is a tool chemists use to work with and understand chemicals. The periodic table can be used to perform chemistry calculations, predict chemical behavior, and bonding types and formations. Atoms on this table are arranged by the atomic number.
Look at the table and find a few types of elements that are important to your field. Where are they utilized? How are they utilized? When they form bonds with other elements how do they form the bonds? How reactive are the elements in the system you are describing? Are there other important isotopes which are applicable to your uses of the element? How do the elements get brought into the system? How to they leave they system if they do?
