Low- Versus High-Fidelity Prototyping

Prototyping is a great way to put something in front of the client to request feedback or sell an idea. It is also an effective way to test a concept for usability before building it.
Prototypes can be made at different levels of fidelity. There are low-fidelity prototypes and high-fidelity ones. Even beyond that, there are prototypes that implement some coding.
Imagine that you have been given a project where you are designing the UX for an application that implements creative navigation methods. The client already has the look and feel of an application created by designers. In a post that is about 200 words in length, recommend the right level of fidelity for a prototype to be used for usability testing.
