How Effective is the NCLB Program in Improving Our Education System
The NCLB calls for one simple goal: that all children will be proficient in reading and mathematics by 2014. This simplistic vision directly placed the responsibility for accountability upon teachers, principles, and the schools themselves on the performance of students and the measurement for proficiency became the results of students test scores.
