Absorption and Elution Techniques in Red Cell Serology
This project will look at a number of variables involved in absorption and elution techniques including the use of PEG to enhance the absorption of antibody and possible non-specific uptake of IgG, factors influencing the efficiency of washing free antibody from the cell suspension and how this can be monitored and the impact that acid elution techniques have on antigen composition of cells following elution of antibody.
